However, it is important to note that the concept of atonement for zina does not involve any form of self-punishment or self-inflicted harm. Instead, it is about seeking forgiveness from Allah and making a genuine effort to change one's behavior. Ultimately, it is up to Allah to accept one's repentance and grant forgiveness. **

In Satanism, atonement is not a central concept as it is in some other religious traditions. Instead, Satanists focus on personal responsibility and accountability for their actions. If a Satanist feels the need to make amends for something they have done, they may choose to do so through direct communication and action, rather than seeking forgiveness from a deity or higher power. This could involve apologizing to those they have wronged, making restitution, or taking steps to prevent similar actions in the future. Ultimately, the practice of atonement in Satanism is about taking ownership of one's actions and working to make things right in a way that aligns with the individual's values and beliefs. **
